The CSB MSJ-150 belongs to the MSJ series of 2V VRLA-AGM batteries, with official application in telecommunications. The series is positioned as a VRLA 2V high-capacity, long service life standby battery series, with a design life of up to 20 years under 25°C float service conditions, and a Eurobat 20°C rating of greater than 12 years ultra-long life. The battery uses a valve-regulated lead-acid structure with absorbed glass mat AGM technology, achieves a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, is a maintenance-free design, and uses pure lead construction with proprietary formulation elements. In terms of capacity, the MSJ-150 has a 10-hour rate nominal capacity of 150Ah at 25°C, 1.80VPC; at 25°C, 1.75VPC, the 8-hour rate is 156.80Ah and the 20-hour rate is 162.20Ah; at 25°C, 1.80VPC the 8-hour rate is 152.80Ah. The battery has a nominal voltage of 2Vdc, a maximum charge current of 45.00A, a maximum discharge current of 900A, a short-circuit current of 2848A, and an internal resistance of 0.54 mΩ. These parameters make it suitable for telecom standby scenarios requiring long-duration float standby. For charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 2.21 to 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalizing charge voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, discharge can cover -15°C to 50°C, and charge and storage can cover -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, at 25°C it is less than 10% after 90 days, and it can be stored for up to 6 months; a full charge is required before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C it should be charged sooner.
