Product details

The CSB GP1272F2 is a 12V 25W valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery belonging to the GP series of general-purpose products. It uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, achieving maintenance-free operation. The battery complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is certified to UL1989 (MH14533). The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), with a flame-retardant (94-V0) version also available. In terms of electrical parameters, the battery delivers 24.5W/cell at the 15-minute rate and 48.9W/cell at the 5-minute rate at 25°C. Maximum charge current is 2.5A, maximum discharge current is 130A, short-circuit current is 160A, and internal resistance is 25.8mΩ. Float charge voltage is 13.5-13.8Vdc/battery (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 14.4-15.0Vdc/battery (25°C). The nominal operating temperature of the battery is 25°C (77°F), the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). The self-discharge rate is low, with remaining capacity over 90% after 90 days of storage at 25°C; it can be stored for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C it should be charged earlier. In terms of physical specifications, the battery dimensions are length 150.9±2.0mm, width 64.8±1.0mm, height 98.6±1.0mm, and weight approximately 1.84kg (4.06 lb). The terminal type is F2 (Faston Tab 250). Design life can reach 5 years under float charge at 25°C, meeting the Eurobat standard (20°C) 3-5 year commercial-grade life. The battery is suitable for general-purpose float standby power scenarios such as security systems, emergency lighting, and medical equipment.
